About Us
Project commercialisation and delivery to completion is what we do best. With extensive expertise and a focus on heat decarbonisation and sustainability, we ensure every project is delivered on time, to quality, and within budget.
We support clients across the full lifecycle of heat network projects, providing strategic advisory, commercial, procurement, and contracting expertise (NEC4 and JCT), as well as funding application support. We also design and deliver plant room works and substation skids connections.
Whether managing large-scale developments or tailored renovations, NovoHeat simplifies complex challenges into clear, innovative solutions. We strive to partner with our clients and collaborate across the wider industry to deliver effective solutions while building skills in the district heating market.
Although NovoHeat is new to the market, our team is not. We bring decades of combined experience from the energy market and district heating sector, backed by deep industry knowledge and practical expertise.
At NovoHeat, we are committed to working with the very best professionals in the field — experts with hands-on experience, technical excellence, and a comprehensive understanding of the energy market. Our strength lies in combining fresh ambition with proven expertise, enabling us to deliver reliable, forward-thinking energy solutions tailored to today’s evolving market demands.
Our Expertise and Industry Collaboration
We are building a world-class district heating consultancy and delivery business through the collaboration of leading industry specialists. Our team combines financial and project appraisal expertise provided by Michaela Shopland; district and building services design expertise through Zero Emission Buildings (ZEB), led by John Humphries; electrical design expertise from Jamie Cara-Southey; and project management leadership from Sam Evans. Together, these capabilities enable us to provide integrated, high-quality solutions across the full lifecycle of district heating projects.
NovoHeat skid fabrication and plant room installation works will be delivered through our partnership with Offsite Innovation, who have a strong track record in the fabrication and delivery of plant room systems and skid-mounted solutions. By combining deep technical expertise with commercial and delivery capability, we support the end-to-end development of low-carbon heat networks, from concept to operation.
Our work is focused on helping the UK Government meet its legally binding net zero carbon target by 2050, accelerating the transition to efficient, affordable, and sustainable heat across the UK.
